Robert continued, “When you think about it, the term ‘To Petition the Government for redress Grievance’ has always been available to all Americans through the courts. The resent congressional scandals involving lobbyists wouldn’t have happened if our lawmakers allowed our Judicial Branch to do their job.  That’s the check and balance system that assures special interests conflicting with the public good won’t be allowed to create corrupting laws harming the American public for the financial benefit of a few.

The right to petition our government was never intended to give a handful of politicians the means of becoming wealthy by allowing special interests a venue to make billions by undermining the livelihoods and welfare of millions of American citizens.”

Robert pondered an idea -

“If lobbyists truly had a First Amendment right to ‘Petition our Congress for redress of Grievance,’ the Republican led Congress just violated the law by denying democrat lobbyists their access.

Through their actions they exposed lobbying as being totally political.  They also set a precedent that lobbyists do not have a legal standing to petition our elected to enrich industries, and buttress the stock portfolios of a few.”

Robert continued, “The only way we can stop American’s from believing politically ‘Anyway they choose, they lose’ is to elect middleclass statesman willing to return integrity to our government by putting an end to lobbying.

We need Independent Middleclass Reformists  willing to consider every law on its own merits, and unblemished from legal tack on tricks appeasing special interests by harming American citizens.

Candidates representing the fiber of our country, including Accountants, Book Editors, Doctors, Engineers, Farmers, Fireman, Nurses, Policeman, Salesman, Social Service Workers, Teachers, Union Members, etc. Average American’s willing to sign an AFFIDAVIT agreeing to vacate public office if they “Betrayed the American Public Trust”.

Janet asked, “When special interests control our media and congress, and we have become a media controlled fascist state, how can the middleclass protect our democracy?”

Robert replied, “It can be done, but we’re running out of time.  About 2000 lawyer lobbyists would fight the idea because they’d loose their jobs.  It doesn’t mater that their influence has already caused millions of Americans to loose their livelihoods, their homes and health insurance. Or even forced them into becoming our countries working poor.

Change has to be from the inside, and we can’t expect the foxes that have been watching our hen house to make laws protecting us chickens.

We need to get involved in our mainstream political parties to determine if they intend change, and to learn how they are organized.

If major parties don’t change, and aren’t willing to protect our countries middleclass by putting an end to lobbying, it’s time to start a new Middleclass Reformist Political Party.

A party focused on getting middleclass candidates elected who will put their signature where their mouth is. Candidates that will agree to vacate public office if they betray the American Public Trust.”

Robert continued, “Half of our country realizes special interests using lobbyists have lowered our quality of life, exported our manufacturing jobs to China, outsourced our service jobs to India, and are immigrating away our trade jobs.  They also agree our countries middleclass is running thin on ways to support their families.
